Join us for a guided mini-forest therapy walk through 6BC Garden. Forest therapy enhances well-being through gentle immersion in parks, forests and other natural environments. More than a way to connect with nature, it is a way to awaken your sensing and being self; deep and nourishing parts of one's self that often don't receive a lot of attention. Based on the Japanese practice of "Shinrin-Yoku," it follows the general principle that it is beneficial to spend time bathing in the atmosphere of a natural environment. This is a quiet, contemplative, sensory-focused way of enhancing health, wellness, and happiness. It’s not just about healing people; it includes healing for the environment. For more information and to pre-register, visit URBAN EDGE FOREST THERAPY.
