YOU CAN VOLUNTEER!

There are many ways you can contribute your time and skills to the garden-- you don't need to know anything
about gardening.  Whether you have gardening experience--or would like to learn-- we're happy to have you pitch in.
All the work needed to keep the garden open and beautiful--planning, planting, maintenance and administration--
is done by members and volunteers.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new friends, get some exercise, and keep your neighborhood green.
All you need is to contribute a few hours of  your time.

Volunteers are needed to:
Assist with maintaining plants and plots ║ sweep, maintain and repair paths ║ clean tables, chairs and benches,
║ pick up trash ║ help with special projects ║ weed, fertilize, mulch and rake ║ paint
║ shovel snow ║ turn compost ║ water the garden.

Is digging in the dirt not your thing, but you still want to help out?
We also need help with non-gardening tasks including:
║ Assistance at events ║ fundraising ║ grant writing ║ bookkeeping

To find out how and when you can help, check the 6BC Calendar for scheduled Work Days or contact us and just mention your interest in volunteering.

If you can, please also consider making a financial contribution to support the garden.

Thank you!
