6BC is staffed entirely by volunteers. We are dedicated to creating for our community a green, peaceful space where you may spend time with friends, family, and neighbors, bring your children and pets, celebrate  special occasions, attend events or just to enjoy some quiet time in a beautiful space – so please come on in and join us!

There are lots of ways you can participate:

Attend a public performance, workshop or event.

6BC hosts several events each season, ranging from poetry and music through yoga, art installations, potluck parties, and more. Check our Event Calendar often!

Create an event of your own!
Submissions for event programming at 6BC have closed for the 2025 season. Check out our season programming HERE. Look out for 6BC events submission to re-open in 2026!

Volunteer

Volunteers are always welcome. Tasks can range from small things like sweeping a path or polishing tools to hands-on gardening. No prior skills necessary!

Donate

6BC garden gratefully accepts donations, both monetary or in-kind. All funds are used for garden maintenance and plants.
