Welcome to 6BC Botanical Garden,
a place to relax, meet your neighbors, and enjoy nature
without leaving the city, all year round.

Hello, fellow gardeners! It's that time again! 6BC is seeking responsible persons interested in making a commitment to our community garden. Get out in the sunshine, meet your neighbors, and help us keep this lovely space green and growing for our community. And maybe make a new friend or two!

As a member of 6BC Garden, you will have year-round access to the garden, and invitations to members-only events,
And members who have signed up for their 3 open hours commitment before the 6BC annual fundraiser/auction will receive free raffle tickets at the event!

Additionally, this year, some plots will be open to committed, responsible members.

Most importantly, you will be helping to maintain a priceless, serene, green space for our neighborhood and for yourself. So you know nothing about gardening? No problem! We all learn together. You don't even have to garden -there are other ways to help out - events? Community Outreach? Other? let us know your skills and interests!
Orientation Date:
Please join us for what may be the last orientation for this season!
Saturday, May 27

All orientations start at 11:00 a.m. Please be prompt. Please read the membership requirements and membership rules carefully. If you feel unable to honor the requirements, this might not be for you.

A workday will precede the orientation, so please choose a date when you can stay for the entire – 3-3½ hour session.  Please wear comfortable work clothes, and, just this once, leave your small children and pets at home. Keys will be distributed at the end of the orientation,

Requests for individual orientations cannot be honored. We are all volunteers, we simply do not have the time to accommodate individual workday/orientations.

Any questions? Please email contact us or message us on our Facebook page.

Hope to see you this summer!

SPECIAL NOTE FOR FORMER/CURRENT MEMBERS:  The lock has been changed again this year, on April 23, so you must attend a workday/orientation to receive your new keys.
