Today we went fishing. Not your usual Saturday morning activity in the East Village! Our fish have not heeded social distancing at all this year and now we have way too many of them for our pond to accommodate. 6BC member, Zoe spearheaded the rescue effort along with help from Paul, Kenneth and Janene. It was tricky but we managed to catch around 14 fish and they have gone to their new home at Sean Casey Animal Rescue in Brooklyn. 7/28/2025 07:07:07
